Each year, World Mental Health Day highlights the importance of different aspects of mental health to overall well-being. This year’s theme is ’mental health is a universal human right.’ The Day provides an opportunity for all mental health stakeholders to speak out on what needs to happen to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide. 

It’s no secret that mental health is a challenge that many U.S. adults experience. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year. The mental and emotional health crisis facing our nation not only impacts the day-to-day functions in our personal lives, but the well-being of our workplaces and organizations, like yours. 

To adapt to our ever-evolving world and stay connected to the needs of our participants, Wondr Health regularly surveys its participants. Below you will find the results of our last two surveys. Recently, we asked participants about their health priorities and what benefits were most important to them—find out below how they responded.  

The results are clear: Over 50% share that support to manage stress and other mental health issues is paramount in our participants’ minds.
