Effective and viable mind-body stress reduction in the workplace
This study explores the impact of therapeutic yoga and mindfulness programs on stress reduction among employees, comparing their effectiveness against a control group in a corporate environment. Research of 239 participants demonstrated significant reductions in stress and improvements in sleep quality across both programs, showcasing their potential as valuable components of workplace wellness initiatives. Key findings include notable benefits in autonomic balance, highlighted by increased heart rhythm coherence. The study underscores the effectiveness of mind-body stress management techniques in a corporate setting, providing a strong case for their integration for better mental health and well-being.
